About Soul Alignment Studios

A Somatic Nervous System Sanctuary on the Outer Cape

Soul Alignment Studios was created as a place for people to exhale

No pushing, performing, or proving

Healing is not rushed

The body feels safe enough to soften

After years of supporting clients through stress, anxiety, trauma, burnout, grief, and major life transitions, one truth became increasingly clear:

Insight alone is not enough.

People can understand their patterns and still feel trapped in them. They can know exactly why they respond the way they do and still find themselves bracing, overthinking, shutting down, people-pleasing, numbing out, or living in a body that never fully settles.

Because the body remembers.

The nervous system holds what has not yet been resolved.

That understanding is at the heart of Soul Alignment Studios. This is not a space built around performance, aesthetics, or wellness trends. It is a space built around the deeper truth that healing happens when the body is given the right conditions to regulate, reconnect, and release.

Through trauma-informed somatic practices, gentle movement, nervous system education, breathwork, meditation, sound healing, private sessions, and collaborative care, we support whole-person healing that is grounded in both science and soul.

This work is not about fixing you.

Our Philosophy

1

Healing happens when the body feels safe

The nervous system cannot release what it does not feel safe enough to let go of.
2

Insight alone is not enough

Understanding your story matters, but healing also has to happen through the body.
3

Trauma-informed care matters

Choice, consent, pacing, and safety are not extras. They are essential.
4

Real change happens at the pace of the nervous system

Sustainable healing cannot be forced. It unfolds through support, regulation, and trust.
5

This work is about embodiment, not performance

It is not about becoming less of yourself. It is about feeling safe enough to be fully present in who you already are.

What Somatic Healing Means Here

Somatic healing is a body-based approach to emotional healing and nervous system regulation.

Rather than working only from the top down through thoughts, analysis, or mindset, somatic work includes the body as an active part of the healing process.

It helps people notice and work with what is happening beneath the surface:

At Soul Alignment Studios, somatic healing may include body awareness, resourcing, grounding, breath, movement, sound, rest, guided inner practices, and trauma-informed tools that help support release and regulation without overwhelm.

This is not about forcing catharsis.

It is about building enough safety for the body to begin to trust.

About

Jenn Gulbrand

Jenn Gulbrand is an author, speaker, transformational coach, and trauma-informed somatic practitioner devoted to helping people heal in ways that are embodied, compassionate, and sustainable.

Her work weaves together somatic EMDR, nervous system regulation, breathwork, meditation, sound healing, energy healing, and coaching to support clients in moving beyond survival patterns and into deeper self-trust, presence, and wholeness.

Jenn brings more than 35 years of leadership experience to her work, along with a deep understanding of what it means to hold space for real people navigating real life. Her approach is both grounded and intuitive, blending practical nervous system support with soulful, integrative care.

Support that goes beyond insight

She created Soul Alignment Studios as an evolution of her long-standing work in healing and transformation — a place where people can experience support that turns into true embodied change.

For Jenn, healing is not about becoming someone different.
It is about returning to the self beneath the coping.

Where Science Meets Soul — and the Body Learns Safety Again is not just brand language.

It is the foundation of how she works.

This space was created for those who are ready for a softer, deeper, more embodied path.
